A child in Ethiopia is eager to have a sponsor so he/she can join the HMCHA
family. Your $360 a year provides a monthly payment for food for the whole family, and these special things for your sponsored child: field trip, medical care, bank account for graduation, a Christmas gift and a mentor who cares and visits the family and school. Camp for sponsored teens entering grades 8-10
Going to high school is a big deal. Teens rent a room in Bishoftu and must learn to cook, shop for food, and navigate a big city while attending school taught in a different language. It’s a huge adjustment. HMCHA has a 10-day camp to help
them plan for this new challenge. They learn about time management, goal-setting, and do science experiments, practice their English and have fun bonding with their HMCHA friends. Consider supporting a student at camp for only $23 per child.

Join our board in Minneapolis
HMCHA is looking for energetic, committed individuals who are interested in helping lead a growing Christian nonprofit and who can commit to a monthly meeting and 2-3 hours per month beyond the meeting time. Meetings take place in Minneapolis, MN in the evening.
